Job Purpose: The BIM Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of the (BIM) processes and workflows related to mechanical systems in the projects.
The role requires extensive knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, BIM software, and project coordination to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of mechanical designs. Responsibilities: Design & Drafting: Develop and review mechanical designs, layouts, and schematics using BIM software (Revit, AutoCAD).
Ensure designs meet industry standards, local codes, and client specifications. BIM Coordination: Ensuring that all mechanical components are accurately modeled and integrated into the BIM system.

Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (architectural, structural, electrical) to resolve clashes and ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems within the BIM model. Quality Control & Assurance: Conduct regular quality checks and reviews of the mechanical BIM models to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
Identify and mitigate risks early in the design phase to minimize changes during construction. Educational Requirements: Mandatory: Bachelors degree in mechanical Engineering. Experience: Mandatory: 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering with at least 2 years in BIM modeling and coordination.
Skills: Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and other BIM-related software. Familiarity with mechanical systems design, such as Drainage, Domestic water, HVAC, and fire Protection systems. Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and manage projects. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Experience in large-scale commercial, industrial, or residential projects. Professional certification in BIM (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional). PMP and management certificates is a plus Knowledge of additional BIM-related tools such as Dynamo, BIM 360 is a plus.
