Job Purpose: The Overhead Crane Operator is responsible for operating overhead cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials and products in factories. This role requires a focus on safety, precision, and efficiency to ensure the proper handling and transportation of materials while minimizing risks.
Responsibilities: Operate overhead cranes to lift, move, and position loads as directed. Ensure proper rigging and secure materials for safe transport Load and unload trucks, or other transportation methods. Identify and report any safety hazards or risks in the work area Coordinate with factory staff, supervisors, to ensure smooth operations.

Enforce safety protocol and ensure that all the team member adhere to safety regulations and best practices Educational Requirements: Mandatory: Certified Crane Operator license Certification in rigging or material handling is a plus High communication skills Experience: Mandatory: Minimum 5 years experience in loading and logistics Skills: Proficiency in operating overhead cranes, hoists, and related tools.
Strong understanding of load capacities, weight distribution, and lifting techniques. Train and mentor new staff and apprentices on techniques and safety practices Good communication skills
