Wood is looking for a Procurement Specialist to join our team. This position is based in Riyadh with frequent site visits. • Review and assess the EPCM contractor’s procurement plans, material requisitions, and procurement schedules.
• Support the technical evaluation of vendor proposals, including bid tabulations (TBE), vendor selection processes, and commercial bid evaluations (CBE). • Review and validate purchase orders (POs), vendor documentation, logistics strategies, and quality assurance processes.

• Participate in factory acceptance tests (FATs), vendor inspections, and expediting activities. • Support the management of long-lead items, equipment tracking, and resolution of vendor-related issues. • Work closely with engineering teams to ensure timely and accurate integration of vendor data into project deliverables.
Minimum 5 years of experience Strong understanding of key contracting principles, supported by relevant industry experience and exposure. Good understanding of contract terms, procurement principles, and contracting processes. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional project teams and stakeholders.
Solid awareness of corporate and project procedures, as well as client contract structures and policies. Experience within at least one of the following sectors: Mining, Oil & Gas, EPC, or EPCM environments. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience required. Preference will be given to Saudi nationals.
