- Conduct and coordinate worker training, such as safety regulations, hazardous condition monitoring, use of safety equipment and Fatal Risk Management - Maintain and apply knowledge of current policies, regulations, and industrial processes and overseeing the activities of the QHSE Officers and Senior Officers Responsibilities and Duties To Provide a bullet points List of the essential responsibilities and duties required for this job · Programming and overseeing day to day activities of subordinates HSEQ practitioners, subcontractors and work activities.
· Preparing, reviewing and presenting site inductions, safety briefings and pre-shift meetings information. · Ensuring site rules are adhered to and welfare facilities are up to the required standard. · Ensuring full compliance of the HSEQ Integrated Management System (IMS).
Qualifications Education Level: High School / University level of education with relevant certificates in occupational health, safety, and Environment Years of Experience : Seven (7) years and above Specific Skills / Competencies § Enhance Communication - Communicate well with diverse groups with very good interpersonal skills.
§ Strong leadership skills with openness to advice and giving fair judgement. § Improve coaching skills, very good problem-solving skills (conflict resolution), creativity, and critical thinking § A self-better motivator. § Support and manage change. § Demonstrate qualities like empathy, support, concern and ability to develop based on individual strengths.
§ Time and priority management. § Diversity awareness. § Workload organization and guiding. § Managing performance. § Willingness to learn. § Evidence of successful track proven records .
§ Very skilful in MS Office Required Licenses and Certifications (Optional/If position required): § Valid Light vehicle driving Licence § Surface mining experienced is considered to be highly preferable. § Mining tickets such us Mineral Commission or relevant certifications with mining safety regulations or code of practices is highly preferable
