Procurement Officer - Farm Background - Royal Palace

Responsibilities Source and procure a wide range of agricultural products, including fruits, vegetables, and specialty crops Develop and maintain strong relationships with farmers, suppliers, and distributors Ensure the quality and freshness of procured goods, adhering to the highest standards Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for cost-effective procurement Negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships to optimize procurement processes Maintain accurate records of purchases and inventory management Requirements Proven experience in procurement, specifically within the agricultural or farming sector In-depth understanding of farming practices, crops, and seasonal availability Strong negotiation and communication skills Ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and farmers Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Familiarity with procurement software and MS Office Suite Flexibility to work during evenings and weekends, as needed Passion for sustainability and quality in food sourcing Ability to purchase agricultural products internationally Benefits The salary is from AED 6,000 - 7,000 plus free accommodation, free food, free toiletries plus all other benefits as per UAE labor laws.
