We are looking for a Junior Backend Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will contribute to building and maintaining backend services and APIs, while working closely with frontend engineers, QA, and product teams to deliver reliable and scalable features.
Key Responsibilities ● Backend Development: Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using modern technologies and best practices. ● System Integrations: Support integrations with internal services and third-party platforms, ensuring smooth data flow and system interoperability.

● Database Management: Work with databases to store, retrieve, and optimize application data efficiently. ● Performance & Troubleshooting: Assist in identifying and resolving issues related to backend services, APIs, and application performance.
● Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with frontend engineers, QA, and product teams to deliver end-to-end features in an agile environment. ● Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable code and contribute to testing, debugging, documentation, and code reviews to ensure reliability and scalability.
Technical Requirements ● Core Languages: Good knowledge of backend development using modern technologies such as Node.js and TypeScript. ● Frameworks: Hands-on experience with backend frameworks such as NestJS or Express.
● Database Management: Familiarity with databases, preferably MongoDB, with a good understanding of data modeling and basic query optimization. ● Infrastructure: Basic understanding of containerization tools (Docker) and cloud environments is a plus.
● System Integrations: Exposure to API development and integrations with internal services or third-party platforms. ● Testing: Understanding of testing practices and willingness to contribute to code quality and reliability. Soft Skills & Experience ● Experience: 1–2 years of professional backend development experience.
● Problem Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve technical issues effectively. ● Communication: Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly. ● Learning Mindset: Eagerness to learn, adapt, and continuously improve technical skills in a fast-paced environment.
