We are seeking a Backend Integration Engineer to bridge the gaps between our core services and external platforms. You will design, develop, and maintain the "glue" that powers our ecosystem, ensuring high throughput, data integrity, and system reliability.
Key Responsibilities ● API Design & Development: Build robust, scalable, and secure RESTful and GraphQL APIs using Node.js, NestJS, and TypeScript. ● System Interoperability: Integrate third-party services (Payment Gateways, CRMs, Auth providers) and internal backend services.

● Data Orchestration: Manage data flow and synchronization across MongoDB, Elasticsearch, and message brokers. ● Modernization: Assist in migrating legacy Express services to modern architecture while maintaining system uptime. ● Performance Optimization: Troubleshoot bottleneck issues in integration layers and optimize query performance.
● Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work within a matrix structure, aligning with Product, Frontend, and QA teams to deliver end-to-end features. Technical Requirements ● Experience: 3+ years in backend development with a focus on system integration. ● Language: Expert-level proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js.
● Frameworks: Hands-on experience with NestJS (preferred) or deep knowledge of Express. ● Databases: Strong command of NoSQL environments, specifically MongoDB and Elasticsearch. ● Infrastructure: Familiarity with Kubernetes (k8s) for deploying and managing containerized services.
● Testing: Commitment to quality through unit testing and collaboration with QA on automated integration tests. Soft Skills ● Problem Solver: Ability to untangle complex data flows and edge cases in third-party APIs. ● Communicator: Capable of documenting integration flows clearly for other engineering functional groups.
