The Frontend Chapter Lead is the technical authority for frontend engineering at KABi. You will lead a dedicated Core Frontend Team that acts as our internal R&D engine. Your mission is to architect the foundational systems—boilerplates, common component libraries, and standards—that power all KABi products.
You own the "How" of frontend development across the entire organization. Key Responsibilities 1. Core R&D & Platform Engineering ● Lead a dedicated Core Frontend Team to build and maintain the company's shared design system and component libraries.

● Architect high-performance boilerplates and project scaffolding to ensure rapid and standardized deployment of new products. ● Research and prototype emerging technologies (e.g., Agentic AI integration, specialized state management) to keep the company stack at the cutting edge.
● Set the technical "North Star" for the technology stack (React, Next.js, React Native). 2. Technical Governance & Standards ● Establish and enforce the Definition of Done and code quality standards across all development squads. ● Act as the final authority on frontend architectural decisions and technical trade-offs.
● Conduct high-level code reviews to ensure all projects adhere to the core standards. ● Bridge the gap between R&D and implementation, ensuring core tools are optimized for real-world product use. 3. Chapter Leadership ● Provide deep technical mentorship to frontend engineers across all projects.
● Lead the Frontend Chapter to solve complex technical bottlenecks and facilitate knowledge sharing. ● Standardize the technical hiring bar and lead the evaluation of all frontend talent. ● Build and maintain documentation for all core standards and architectural patterns.
Technical Requirements ● Expertise: 7+ years in Frontend Development with mastery of React, Next.js, and TypeScript. ● Architecture: Proven experience building shared libraries, npm packages, or complex design systems. ● Systems Thinking: Deep understanding of frontend infrastructure, build pipelines, and performance optimization.
● Authority: Demonstrated ability to set technical standards and lead senior engineers through architectural excellence. Core Stack ● Primary: React, Next.js, TypeScript. ● Environment: Integration with Node.js, NestJS, and Elasticsearch.
