The role of the Production Foreman is to assist Production Supervisor in coordinating and supervising the load & haul; drill & blast and grade control mining activities, during shift work including safety, health and environmental issues on site, and it is done in association with achieving JRAR production objectives in a safe and cost-effective manner in liaison with the client Supervise and co-ordinate production employees in liaison with the Production Supervisor to ensure that the project site meets the production targets set in a safe and cost-effective manner.

Ensure that in conjunction with the Production Supervisor liaises with Maintenance Supervisor to advice of operational maintenance and break down requirements of equipment during the shift; and the weekly maintenance schedules in a timely manner, which will not have effect on production.
Provide support to production employees with regards to health, safety and environment in the delivery of specialist mining production. Specific Skills / Competencies At least 3 years plus working experience in the mining industry At least 3 years of experience in similar position Good knowledge of pit configuration (e.g.
layout, ramps, dumps, roads) Good mining experience in truck and excavator operations and production Effective communication skills Good organizational skills Required Licenses and Certifications (Optional/If position required): Current Driving License (Heavy Duty Vehicle and Equipment) Middle School Leaving Certificate or equivalent Mine Foreman Certificate First Aid Certificate
