Key Accountabilities & Activities Generic Accountabilities Strategy Execution Implement departmental plans and ensure alignment with defined business objectives. Translate functional goals into team-level operational plans and coordinate their execution. Monitor and track execution progress and report on performance against targets.

Budget and Financial Monitoring Support and manage budget preparation and implement cost control within the team. Track expenditures and report variances in line with approved budgets. Common Accountabilities Manage day-to-day operations and ensure delivery of targets in line with plans.

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency. Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and operational standards. People Management Manage and supervise team members, setting clear objectives and expectations. Monitor and track team performance, providing regular feedback to ensure delivery.

Support and coordinate employee development and training initiatives. Coordination Coordinate team activities to ensure smooth execution of operational plans. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve operational issues and support delivery.

Job-Specific Accountabilities Medical Affairs Execution & Program Management Manage implementation of medical affairs plans and scientific engagement programs aligned with organizational and regulatory requirements. Implement medical initiatives supporting product lifecycle, clinical positioning, and healthcare engagement.

Monitor execution of medical activities and track performance against defined objectives and timelines. Deliver medical programs that strengthen scientific credibility and stakeholder engagement.

Scientific Communication & Medical Content Manage development and review of scientific materials, medical content, and educational resources to ensure accuracy and compliance. Implement medical communication strategies supporting internal teams and external stakeholders.

Monitor consistency and quality of scientific messaging across all communication channels. Deliver evidence-based medical information supporting product and organizational positioning. Healthcare Stakeholder Engagement (HCPs & KOLs) Manage relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs), key opinion leaders (KOLs), and medical institutions.

Implement engagement plans supporting scientific exchange, education, and collaboration initiatives. Monitor effectiveness of stakeholder interactions and track engagement outcomes. Deliver initiatives that strengthen relationships within the medical and healthcare community.

Medical Compliance & Governance Manage implementation of medical governance frameworks and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and ethical standards. Monitor adherence to medical policies, procedures, and compliance requirements across all activities.

Track compliance risks and deliver corrective actions addressing deviations or non-compliance issues. Coordinate with Legal and Regulatory teams to ensure alignment with applicable laws and standards.

Clinical & Medical Insights Support Manage evaluation and interpretation of clinical data, scientific evidence, and healthcare trends supporting business decisions. Implement processes for collection and analysis of medical insights from stakeholders and market activities.

Monitor trends and track opportunities or risks impacting medical strategy and product positioning. Deliver insights supporting cross-functional decision-making. Cross-Functional Medical Coordination Coordinate with Regulatory Affairs, Corporate Affairs, Commercial, R&D, and Quality teams to support alignment of medical activities.

Implement collaboration frameworks ensuring medical input is integrated into business processes and initiatives. Monitor execution of cross-functional medical requirements and track progress of related actions. Deliver coordinated responses to medical and regulatory requirements.

Medical Affairs Performance Monitoring & Reporting Monitor medical affairs KPIs including stakeholder engagement, compliance, and program execution effectiveness. Track performance trends and deliver reporting inputs supporting leadership reviews and planning.

Deliver insights highlighting risks, opportunities, and performance improvements within medical affairs activities. Risk Management & Issue Resolution Monitor medical and compliance risks related to scientific communication and healthcare engagement. Deliver actions supporting mitigation of risks and resolution of medical or compliance issues.

Track escalation of critical issues and coordinate timely resolution with relevant stakeholders.
